Blueberry Sol is an elegant coffee full of character from Cajamarca in northern Peru, made with great care on a small family-run farm of just two hectares in Potrero Grande, Tabaconas. Here, at 1,450 to 1,500 metres, the Bourbon varietal is grown in a cool mountain environment with rich soil and slow fruit ripening, which gives the coffee its clear, refined profile.
Full of character with depth
The washed process is supported by a long fermentation of 60 hours, followed by gentle drying on raised beds under a solar dryer, which contributes to the coffee's clean profile, bright acidity and fine sweetness.
It's a coffee with a light, refined expression, yet enough depth to make an impression, making it an obvious choice for anyone looking for a more complex and nuanced cup.
